An ongoing public art project with only two pictorial elements: the ubiquitous happy face for bringing smiles to jaded urbanites and children crying on the subway; and a sad face, generally peering out from behind a fence, evoking compassion for those who are unjustly imprisoned, trapped, or heartbroken.
A big fat virtual smile and thanks to anyone who reports in the Comments section that one of our pieces is — through some incredible miracle — still hanging where first installed.
Oh, this is so cool. No sightings yet, but, now I’ll really start looking.
